Cleaner/Janitor

Substation in Brixton, London, is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner/Janitor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our climbing, fitness and wellbeing facility remains a clean and safe haven for our members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, and dusting surfaces.

·      Clean and sanitize toilet and changing facilities to maintain a high standard of hygiene.

·      Empty bins and replace liners.

·      Assist with maintenance tasks and report any facility issues to the management team.

·      Restock cleaning supplies as required.

·      Ensure that the climbing wall and common areas are presentable and inviting to our customers.

Attributes:

·      Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred.

·      General maintenance skills including plumbing, joinery etc.

·      Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

·      Ability to work independently and efficiently.

·      Good communication skills.

·      Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies.

·      Knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
